Dynamika wizerunku Jarosława Kaczyńskiego na łamach tygodnika „Newsweek Polska”

Abstract

Dynamics of Image of Jarosław Kaczyński in the pages of weekly “Newsweek Polska” Summary In the article the author describes the dynamics of Jarosław Kaczyński’s image, which has been created by the journalists of the weekly “Newsweek Polska” in 2005–2007. Then the image is compared to the contemporary one (2017). The author notices double dynamics: diametric change in the image’s connotation from the positive to the negative one in the period of 2005–2007 and extended negative connotation of the image in the texts from 2017 year comparing to 2007 year. It seems, that the cause lies in the reprofiling of the weekly and in its transformation into engaged political actor.
