Abstract

Thisisacasestudyconcerningtechnologystart-upcompaniesinvolvedinsystemsthinkingduring newproductdevelopment.Itisfoundthatsystemsthinkingarepivotaltoassistprojectmanagersto moveaprojectfromstarttosuccessfulcompletion.Theessenceofsystemsthinkingisgettingall teamsinacompanytoworktogether,asone,topushforwardnewproductdevelopment.Thestudy revealssomeofthechallengesassociatedwithimplementingthesystemstheoryinnewproduct developmentforthesecompanies.Thisareaofstudyholdspromiseforcontinuedfutureresearch.
