Circularly Polarized Antenna with Twisted Flat Plates

Abstract

In this talk, a circularly polarized (CP) antenna having twisted flat radiating element is presented. Choosing a suitable torsion angle, good axial ratio (AR) can be obtained with a bidirectional radiation pattern. In addition to this, we clarify the effect of the angle on the AR, amplitude and phase difference of two orthogonal linear component in the far field for CP.
