Abstract

In this paper we have taken the Gabor Transform (GT) and S Transformation (ST) to carryout the image segmentation of an acquired image. In GT the spectrum of the windowed segment of image i(x,y) centered at nx0 and ny0 and it suffers from variable resolution in the spatial domain where the limit is determined by the width of the localized window.
