Abstract

A novel approach based on the modified differential evolution (MDE) algorithm is proposed to suppress the sideband radiation of the time-modulated arrays (TMA). In the modified differential evolution algorithm, an adaptive adjustment strategy of parameter CR is used to improve the population diversity and to avoid frapping in local optima. Benchmark functions have been provided to verify the MDE algorithm.
