Results were collected from nursing students by using self-administered questionnaires covers demographic data and Fisher’s self-directed learning readiness scale (SDLRS). \nResults: There were 145 participants in the study. Total number of participants aged 16-20 was 39 (26.9%) and 21-25 was 106 (73.1%). There were 19 (13.1%) participants from 1st year, 37 (25.5) participants from 2nd, 60(41.4) participants from 3rd and 29 (20%) participants from 4th year.
