Abstract
Reservoir landslide is a severe geological hazard which is caused by hydrodynamic change due to rainfall and groundwater level fluctuations. Based on geologic environment and monitoring data of Baishuihe landslide in Three Gorges Reservoir Area of China, first of all, its hydro-geological conditions is analyzed and correlation between groundwater level and landslide deformation is testified. Secondly, landslide deformation is regarded as equation of time and groundwater level, and improved Kalman filter model is erected to predict landslide deformation by expansion the equation using Taylor series, and remainder term of Taylor series and variation of groundwater level are regarded as dynamic noises whose mathematical expectation are zero. Lastly, by calculating deformation value considering groundwater level using improved Kalman filter model based on monitoring data from monitoring points ZG118 and SZK1 of Baishuihe landslide, it shows that fitting results of landslide deformation are better.
