Abstract

An interface called Java Database Connectivity enables programmers to connect to any database and retrieve data from it. A group of interfaces that define the Java Database Connectivity API are included in the SQL package. Platform-independent interface (JDBC - API) between relational databases and Java programming is also known as Java Database Connectivity. It enables the execution of SQL statements by a Java program and the retrieval of results from a Run a statement, then use the database to get the results. Numerous interfaces with various implementations for various databases are offered by the JDBC API.
