Abstract

Researches of galaxies have been experiencing a remarkable progress over the last several years. A review of scientific achievements in this triennium (July 1999 to June 2002) is given as the report of Division VIII. This report presents major conferences, review papers, catalogs, and useful URLs relevant to Commission 28. Entries are largely based upon inputs from Commission members and completeness was not intended.
