Abstract
The three-phase separator, containing three layers of dynamically changing oil-water emulsion, is an indispensable equipment in the petroleum industry. However, there exist lots of shortcomings in the current mainstream liquid level measurement methods. Even though they are of high cost, they cannot be visualized, or detect multi-layer medium liquid level.
