On the lexemes with the seme of smallness in the root morpheme to express the semantics of extreme (based on the novels of F. M. Dostoevsky)

Abstract

Настоящее исследование посвящено изучению способности неодушевленных имен существительных, в корневых морфемах которых присутствует сема малости, выражать семантику крайности. В результате составлен свод анализируемых лексем и выявлено, что они достаточно часто употребляются в художественном пространстве произведений Ф. М. Достоевского. Диминутивные формы как первой, так и второй деривационных ступеней исследуемых слов способствуют актуализации семантики крайности. Определено, что лексемы с семой малости в корневой морфеме употребляются как в прямом, так и в переносном значениях и передают семантику крайности при соблюдении определенных условий. The article deals with the inanimate nouns with a seme of smallness in the root morphemes to express the semantics of extreme. As a result, a set of analyzed lexemes was compiled and it was revealed that they were used quite frequently in the fictional space of F. M. Dostoevsky's works. The diminutive forms of both the first and second derivational stages of the studied words contribute to the actualization of the semantics of extreme. It is determined that lexemes with a seme of smallness in the root morphemes are used both in direct and figurative meanings and convey the semantics of extreme under certain conditions.
