Abstract

This paper describes the design of Ku-band upconverter with low phase noise and low spurious for FMCW radar. The module up-converts linear frequency modulated S-band signal to Ku-band for radar transmission. The bandwidth of operation in Ku-band is 1 GHz with a frequency step resolution of 10 MHz.
