Client-server framework, object-oriented technology, hierarchical structure and self-description technology are applied in the construction of the platform to support the distributed architecture and the multidisciplinary system collaboration. Abstract

The prognostics and health management (PHM) system has been proved to be effective in failure warning and logistic support for real engineering systems.
