The application of studying RBC by DHM is not limited to the shape of RBC and biochemical property such as hemoglobin content can also be analyzed. The images are related to the healthy RBC sample, and after imaging, segmentation can provide us several single cells. Abstract

Digital holographic microscopy (DHM) is a well-suited technique for studying red blood cell (RBC) since it is a perfect phase object.
