Abstract

This paper develops a new space-vector dynamic model of the induction machine including stator and rotor slotting effects. With the proposed approach, the slotting effect is considered only in the stator and rotor leakage variation, as proposed in literature. The model has been rearranged into a space-state form useful for control applications, since it contains the information of the rotor position.
