Abstract
The moving target ambiguity function of a ground mapping, airbome synthetic aperture radar is derived. It is shown that a nonuniform pulse repetition interval gives this radar the dual capability of full resolution ground imaging and unambiguous, two dimensional moving target velocity and position determination.
