Application of competitive attractiveness, sustainability and balance's assessments of the regions for monitoring and strategic planning

Abstract

The paper considers the characteristics of the quality of competitive development of regions in the context of internal and external challenges and risks. Indicators for assessing the level of sustainability and interfactor balance of regional development are proposed. Analysis of the calculation results by the Russian regions by statistics of 2019-2020 and causal comparisons of the level of regional development by social-economic factors allows to positively verify the proposed methods and conclusions that were made.
