Abstract
The article discusses the features of the rotation mechanism of tower cranes using the KB-408 crane as an example. Often, these mechanisms are equipped with frequency-controlled electric drives with vector control. During the study, it was revealed that with vector control closed by the speed of rotation of the motor shaft, slow compensation of moment disturbances occurs. During physical and mathematical modeling, it was found that low dynamics is determined by the limitation of the magnetic flux of the stator of the electric motor. Even with zero static error, this drawback complicates the work of the tower crane operator. To solve this problem, the use of a scalar control mode is proposed, and to maintain speed, the introduction of dynamic feedback through it is proposed, which will completely eliminate the static error, while maintaining the level of dynamics of the transition process.
