Aksaray Organize Sanayi Bölgesindeki İşletmelerin Dış Ticaret Hacmi ve Bölgesel Ekonomik Katkılarının Uluslararası Pazarlama Bağlamında İncelenmesi

Abstract

The aim of the study is to reveal the contribution of companies operating in foreign trade in Aksaray Organized Industrial Zone to the Turkish economy, to determine their export and import potential, and to examine their foreign trade payment methods. Face-to-face interviews were conducted with senior managers of 70 companies in Aksaray Organized Industrial Zone and a questionnaire was applied. The questionnaire consists of general characteristics of the firm, export/import potential, payment methods, ranking of export/import countries, and the most frequently encountered problems in export/import. The data were analyzed with multivariate statistical methods. As a result of the research, Far Eastern countries are followed by EU countries in the ranking of import regions, while the Middle East, EU, and Russia are at the forefront in exports.
