Central Bank Digital Currencies and the Formation of a Common Financial Market of the EAEU Countries

Abstract

The author examines the international experience in the development and use of the Central bank digital currencies (CBDC) – a new form of the officially distributed national currencies. The conclusion is made that in order to establish the Eurasian Economic Union’s common financial market it is necessary to develop national digital currencies on the basis of the unified technical and regulatory standards.
