Abstract
Foundation pit in Nansha Region, Guangzhou was adopted to introduce the control factors in super soft soil when using retaining structures with double-row piles. The design and construction plan of double-row piles used in super soft soil were introduced. The actual construction effect indicate the retaining structures with double-row piles is feasible in super soft soil, and improvement of foundation pit using mixing pile is necessary for soft soil region.
