Abstract

For the sake of meeting the fast isolation of faulted areas for DC distribution network with multi-terminal PV, a novel DC protection scheme is proposed. This scheme is on the basis of the DC current differential coefficient under fault transients, which are the characteristics of the DC current. This property is banded with different settings of value to realize the protection of the DC distribution network with multi-terminal PV.
