Abstract

A fictitious multi-medium method is presented, where the conductivity or permeability of fictitious medium is negative. The discretization is confined to fictitious medium regions, so this method is requiring much less computer memories and timesaving. The validation of this method is verified by the electromagnetic shielding analysis of underground telecommunication cables.
