Tingginya angka kecelakaan disebabkan oleh adanya kesalahan manusia yang berasal dari pengemudi BRT sendiri dan ada juga yang disebabkan oleh kesalahan orang lain atau pengemudi kendaraan lain sehingga diperlukan kesadaran mental pengemudi yang disebut SA (situation awareness). Tujuan penelitian adalah perbandingan terhadap SA pengemudi BRT pada kondisi padat lalu lintas berdasarkan waktu kerja yaitu pagi hari dan sore hari. SA pengemudi diukur dengan menggunakan metode SART (Situation awareness Rating Technique). Subjek penelitian adalah Supir BRT Pengemudi BRT Rute Bandara Adisucipto – Pakem. Objek penelitian adalah situation awareness tingkat kepadatan lalu lintas pagi hari pada pukul 7.00 – 9.00 WIB dan tingkat kepadatan lalu lintas sore hari pada pukul 16.00 - 18.00 WIB. Uji statistik dalam penelitian ini adalah uji statistik non parametrik t test. Hasil Perbandingan SA pengemudi BRT pada kondisi padat lalu lintas berdasarkan waktu kerja yaitu pagi hari dan sore hari diperoleh hasil bahwa rata-rata usia pengemudi shift pagi adalah 34 tahun dan pengemudi shift sore rata-rata berusia 32 tahun dengan lama bekerja rata-rata 3 tahun. Nilai SA tidak berbeda signifikan ditunjukkan dalam t test sebesar 0.213. Secara nilai mean SA pengemudi shift pagi lebih tinggi daripada pengemudi shift sore. \n \nIn 2021, BRT had 12 accidents and in 2022 there were 34 accidents. The high number of accidents is caused by human error originating from BRT drivers themselves and some are caused by the mistakes of other people or drivers of other vehicles so that driver mental awareness is needed called SA (situation awareness). The purpose of the study was a comparison of SA BRT drivers in heavy traffic conditions based on working time, namely morning and evening. Driver SA is measured using the SART (Situation awareness Rating Technique) method. The subject of the study was a BRT Driver BRT Driver for the Adisucipto – Pakem Airport Route. The object of the study is situation awareness of the level of morning traffic density at 7.00 - 9.00 WIB and the level of afternoon traffic density at 16.00 - 18.00 WIB. The statistical test in this study is a non-parametric statistical test t test. Comparison of SA BRT drivers in heavy traffic conditions based on working time, namely morning and evening, it was found that the average age of morning shift drivers was 34 years and afternoon shift drivers were 32 years old with an average working length of 3 years. The value of SA is not significantly different shown in the t test of 0.213.
