This paper proposed a novel approach of brachial artery projection on skin surface. The method based on electrical impedance measurement in relation to the change of blood flow during cardiac cycle. Appropriate parameters of multichannel electrode system have been designed to achieve the sensitivity to brachial artery pulsation. The results of multichannel upper arm mapping had shown the possibility of brachial artery projection. Abstract
The electrical bio-impedance signal obtained from brachial artery can be used to determine the arterial blood pressure.
