Abstract

The scattering amplitude functions of a spatially-oriented chiral spheroid are derived. Polarimetric scattering from a layer of nonuniformly oriented chirally-active spheroids in the Mueller matrix solution is obtained. Co-polarized and de-polarized backscattering and polarization degree for any polarized incidence are numerically calculated.
