According to the Russian Public Opinion Research Centre (VCIOM) survey, Zakhar Prilepin, is one of the three most popular writers in the country. He is also named as the most frequently mentioned in the country’s media writer by the press monitoring company “Medialogia.” Both ratings make Prilepin one of the most influential writers in contemporary Russia.
