Abstract

The employment of infinite array element's active admittance properties in order to calculate the parameters of a finite array was proposed in a paper by Roscoe [1]. The authors of this communication employ that approach and the data obtained by modeling the behavior of an infinite planar array of rectangular apertures in order to draw conclusions regarding the operation of the elements of a finite array with the same geometry. The behavior of the individual elements in relation with their positions within the finite array is investigated.
