ISIO 14001 - Up and running!

Abstract

ISO 14001 has six very specific requirements regarding environmental policy including a commitment to continual improvement and prevention of pollution as well as being made available to the public. The author points out the differences between the ISO 9002 and ISO 14001 standards. The author then discusses what Millar Western Pulp did to achieve and are currently doing to maintain, this 'new' ISO standard.
