Abstract

A dual-band frequency reconfigurable monopole antenna is presented in this paper. Reconfiguration of frequency bands is achieved using RF PIN diodes. An already published antenna design is used as a starting point and is then modified to achieve frequency reconfiguration mechanism by incorporating RF PIN diodes.
