Techniques and tips: Get the most out of a mini-ROV

Abstract

Performing tasks in an underwater environment is unpredictably demanding. For that reason, many people are turning to the mini-ROV platform to perform tasks well beyond the normal inspection and observation tasks for which -many years ago- mini-ROVs were developed. Based on this reason the real-world experience of several knowledgeable mini-ROV operators, techniques and tips that have helped them accomplish difficult or complicated tasks will be addressed.
