Abstract

For the ecological management of a South Baltic coastal region in Mecklenburg-Vorpommern (Germany) especially data and efficient interpretation methods are needed which enable current status analyses and forecasts, for example about the short-term and long-term landscape changes. The paper describes an algorithm for the classification of biotope and land-use types based on airborne scanner data taken from DAEDALUS AADS 1268.
