Design and Implementation of the Management Information System for Chain Business Corporation

Abstract

As chain business corporation is an important organization form in modern market economy system, in this paper we study on how to design and implement the management information system for chain business corporation. Firstly, management information system is designed promote the management level of modern enterprise, provide the useful information, report forms for the manager, and provide the search service for managers make clear the actual situation. Secondly, structure of the management information system for chain business corporation is made up of three modules, that is, 1) Management information system for headquarters, 2) Management information system for sales, 3) Management information system for logistics. Thirdly, the hardware of management information system is made up of a central server and an ERP management server, which contains database server, application server, and web server. Finally, we illustrate that headquarter management information system should include seven parts: 1) Basic settings, 2) Brand management, 3) Promotion management, 4) Order management, 5) Report management, 6) Role management and 7) Branch management.
