CITRA PEREMPUAN DALAM NOVEL “HAFALAN SHALAT DELISA” KARYA TERE LIYE

Abstract

This study aims to describe the image of women in the novel “Hafalan Shalat Delisa” by Tere Liye. The method used in this research is descriptive qualitative method. The source of the data in this study is the novel “Hafalan Shalat Delisa” by Tere Liye. Then, the data in this study are written data in the form of words, phrases, and sentences contained in novel “Hafalan Shalat Delisa” by Tere Liye. The data analysis technique in this study was carried out by reading the novel repeatedly, then collecting data, describing the results of the data, and concluding the results of the research. Based on the results of data analysis, it can be concluded that in the novel “Hafalan Shalat Delisa” by Tere Liye there are quotes that contain women's images, namely women's self-image, women's image in the physical aspect, women's image in the psychological aspect, and women's image in the social aspect.
