Abstract

The National Cash Register Company (NCR) 304 system is a moderatesized electronic data-processor for general business use. It incorporates many new design concepts which result in performance capabilities comparable to those of a large scale system. Each of the features was designed to provide maximum versatility in the handling of business data. The NCR 304 system offers the advantages of electronic data-processing to many organizations that have not yet found it economically feasible.
