Since this issues are threat to mankind and existing shredder machines in the market are powered via fuel engine oil which also contributes to global warming, this directed the researchers to design and develop a machine Solar-Powered Automatic Leaf Shredder for Vermicomposting which can be operated using solar energy system to promote an environment friendly machine for farmers to embrace the technology and preservation of the environment. The researchers conducted inferential research and used t-test to compare the performance variables of the existing shredder machine with the developed machine for vermicomposting. The t-test result showed that the developed machine improved the accessibility procedure and operation time variables as compared to the existing shredder. Thus, the developed machine was also able to achieve the same performance as the existing shredder in weight loss and portability time variables. Abstract

Environmental issues on the harmful effects of human activities is a worldwide problem causing global warming and climate change.
