Data of network simulation, which is conducted using some mathematical tool, can become the basis for selection of adjustments. Here it is suggested to use an extension constructed on the basis of colored, fuzzy, timed, hierarchical, and priority Petri nets, as such a tool. The article provides a formal description of the developed mathematical tool of the modified fuzzy Petri nets. Abstract
