Topical overview of soft-switching PWM high frequency converters

Abstract

A topical overview of the field of soft-switching PWM DC-DC converters is presented. Over sixty papers published in the 1993-4 have been reviewed and categorized according to the various resonant techniques, control schemes, application requirements or devices used. Also covered are the zero-current and zero-voltage-transition techniques which are at the forefront of research.
