Abstract

The human brain has numerous abilities. It is a self-learning system that adapt itself to its environment and circumstances. Cognition has to do with how a person understands the world and acts in it. It is the set of mental abilities that are part of nearly every human action while we are awake. Cognitive abilities are brain based skills we need to carry out any task from the simplest to the most complex. They have more to do with the mechanism of how we learn, remember, problem-solve and pay attention rather than with any actual knowledge. One of the cognitive ability is attention-focusing skills, which are necessary to filter out distractions and prioritize received information to determine how much detail from a given sensory input is converted into memory. In this paper, the search is towards finding the brain ability by calculating concentration level of different aged people with mental stress and for mentally challenged too.
