An Empirical Study on the Relationship between Entrepreneur's Traits and Entrepreneurial Success

Abstract

Nowadays the researches on entrepreneurship have become more and more mature, and the Entrepreneur’s Traits have received lots of attention from scholars. This paper empirically studied the relationship between Entrepreneur’s traits and entrepreneurial success using structural equation model based on 153 valid surveys. The result showed that innovativeness, locus of control, risk-taking and need for achievement are all positively associated with entrepreneurial success. Then we discussed the empirical results. Finally, we made a conclusion and discussed the limitations and pointed out possible research direction in the future.
