Profile of digital journalists in Ecuador: a study of national newspapers in their digital version and digital nativesThe research work presents relevant data on the profile of digital journalists in Ecuador: training, characteristics, functions, skills, digital newsroom, use of digital tools and resources, content management and social networks. Ecuador: training, characteristics, functions, competencies, digital newsroom, use of digital tools and resources, content management and social networks. The research is conducted with a quantitative and qualitative methodology. The techniques used are: in-depth interviews with experts in digital journalism and media editors, and under the quantitative methodology a structured survey of 51 digital journalists from native and migrant digital media in Ecuador.
