ASSESSMENT OF THE COMPLIANCE OF THE REGION'S ECOLOGICAL AND ECONOMIC DEVELOPMENT WITH MODERN REQUIREMENTS FOR SUSTAINABLE PRODUCTION AND CONSUMPTION

Abstract

The article proposes a method for assessing the compliance of the region's ecological and economic development with modern requirements for sustainable production and consumption, based on the decomposition of the basic ratio of sustainable production and consumption (maximizing the standard of living per unit of ecological footprint). An assessment of the compliance of the ecological and economic development of the region with the modern requirements of sustainable production and consumption in the regions of the Northwestern Federal District of the Russian Federation is carried out according to the proposed method.
