Cognitive Radar as a Result of Use of Artificial Intelligence Achievements in Adaptive Radar

Abstract

The achievements in the field of artificial intelligence, sensors, digital front-ends and data processing allow to implement cognitive process in radars. The concept of cognitive radar is founded as a result of analysis of artificial intelligence. The features of cognitive radar are discussed. Main major areas of research connected with the cognitive radar are considered.
