Application of principal component analysis in coal enterprise benefit analysis and evaluation

Abstract

Integrating the principal components analysis with R analysis software, the article offers a solution to synthetically evaluate coal mining enterprises' economic benefits. The method can not only reflect different factors in coal's economic benefits, but also determine the degree of importance of these factors, thus saving the trouble of importance assessment by decision-makers when faced with multiple index scenario. It, as a result, provides corporate decision-makers with an effective technical means and improves the management of the coal enterprise.
