DIGITALIZATION OF THE SCIENTIFIC LIBRARY OF THE OMSK STATE TECHNICAL UNIVERSITY

Abstract

The article describes the process of digitalisation of the scientific library of the Omsk State Technical University by creating a new information system. Online services that the library will provide to users, and innovations, such as an electronic library card, are proposed and described. A functional layout is presented and the design of the information system is described. The results of digitalisation and their impact on the interaction of the library with the user are analysed.
