Assuming that a scoring difference of 1 is acceptable, the proposed method achieves an accuracy of 77.39% when using features extracted by a convolutional neural network based autoencoder. Experiments were also done with the popular HOG feature. However, the autoencoder-based results showed clear superiority compared the HOG-based results.
