Abstract
This paper introduces INDRA, the first maritime radar built in Indonesia. INDRA is developed to meet the need for integrated surveillance along the Indonesian coastline, which is the worldpsilas second longest. The INDRA project is collaboration of a number of Indonesian organizations with technological support from the International Research Centre for Telecommunications and Radar (IRCTR), Delft University of Technology. INDRA is a solid-state FMCW radar and developed in 2 versions, i.e. a ship/marine radar and a coastal radar. The antenna system of INDRA employs microstrip-patch-array offset-fed reflector antennas which are here implemented for the first time in FMCW radar. The first field measurement of INDRA is scheduled to take place in July 2008.
