This research employs both a descriptive and a library approach. This study focuses on the investigation of force majeure in the Indonesian Covid-19 pandemic and its impact on social life. This research demonstrates that the termination of employment (PHK) policy utilized as an alibi by some organizations during the COVID-19 epidemic was regarded unreasonable because several corporations invoked force majeure. In accordance with Manpower Law No. 13 of 2003, if the company's loss does not exceed two years, the company cannot end the employment contract unilaterally.
