Abstract
Some principle voltage-operated structures with a contactless moving electrode are shown, together with relations useful for feasibility evaluation. Application to oscillating-mass systems based on electrical levitation is considered. They allow the force balance and the current generation to be performed simultaneously, yielding power equations independent of gravitational acceleration.<>
