The polychrome of Kalisz is the last work of this Bernardine. W. Żebrowski worked not only in Kalisz, but also for the Bernardine churches in Poznań, Kadyny, Wschowa, Skępe, Warta, Ostrołęka, Warszawa and probably in Owińska, Ostrzeszów and maybe in Łęczyca too. He was particularly famous as a landscapist.
